The Fada 262R is made from "Chinese Red" plaskon with matching red plaskon knobs and a matching molded back cover.
Fada 260 series model number suffixes designated the cabinet color;
"W" Walnut, "B" Black, "V" Ivory, "R" Chinese Red, "D" Black and Chromium,
"BG" Black and Gold, "RG" Chinese Red and Gold, "G" Ivory and Gold.
The black bakelite version was the only one offered with chrome trim.
They were made ca.1937.

Notice that a wood cabinet was also a choice.
The FADA 254 used the same cabinet as the FADA 260 with circuit variations.
