This is a stunning 1936 Fada model 246D Coloradio and one of my favorites.
It is an impressive radio measuring 17" wide.
The black bakelite cabinet includes a silver dial to match the chrome strips and decorative accents.
Its bold deco contrasting design makes it the focal point in any room.
It is a fully enclosed cabinet with a matching rear cover and "F-A-D-A" cut out in the design,
perfect for displaying anywhere. It included both AM and Shortwave bands.
Other FADA radios that used this same cabinet include models 242, 246, 250, 1242, 1246, 365, and 370.
Some models used a different dial (seen on the ivory version below)
