This beautiful 1939 Motorola model 51AB is a small bakelite radio only 9" wide.
The great automobile-grille designed cabinet has made this very popular with collectors.
It was also offered with a ivory painted finish.
A model 51B revision was offered with an additional 3rd knob for a tone control.
And, a 3-knob battery version was also made.
The thin bakelite cabinet has made this radio very hard to find without damage.
