Jimmy Buffett first thought of the idea of Radio Margaritaville while driving in Australia listening to a local radio station. This particular station got his attention because it was different from the others since they played, as he put it, "just good music". Radio Magaritaville is built on the greatest music ever made. That's no small claim indeed, but take James Taylor, Bob Marley, Bonnie Raitt (among many others), calypso and other Caribbean sounds, beach music, surfing songs, New Orleans music and a Parrothead's minimum daily requirement of Jimmy Buffett and you have, quite simply, many of the greatest songs in popular music history. In between the sets of songs you get the lifestyle. No screaming car commercials. No robotic deejays reading liner cards. You get honest conversation, information about the music and other items of interest to us inhabitants of paradise (literally or figuratively). Your feedback is always welcome. Tell us where you are and what you want to hear. Visit RM when you're at work or at home. You can listen while you do other things on your computer, including surfing the web. You'll hear new and different things every day. So join your host Steve Huntington and climb on board. We're glad you're here!
